Woody box update #9

Did a walk around the farm slough yesterday. Lots of birds starting to hatch out but our boxes are still occupied. We have 7 hens sitting and they should start to hatch out any day now. We are hoping to get pictures of the ducklings jumping out this year.

It would be interesting to have a camera always looking into the box, watching the hen rotate the eggs over and from centre of nest to edges etc.

Number 9, Number 9....
I hope to see some of those chicks dropping from their perch and swimming with Mom.
Gotta make sure those Herons are not close by too.
