Now that there is funny, I don't care who you are, I think if these are gonna be $50. there can't be a whole lotta choice. Mass produced autralian wool ( virgin or gently screwed) 20 or 25 oz. is great .I will take a couple for sure. 20 oz. is fine, if I am still cold I will put 2 on that's 40. oz fo $100. order the friggers, we will line up to buy them!

well speaking purely for myself, I have spent years keeping my eye out for the super heavy extra itchy wool blankets I had when I was a kid that we would use when we would hit the cabin. You just don't see that kind of heavy material around in this day and age of cheap crap.
My parents still have one or two of those old wool mats around in storage but they won't let me anywhere near them!
 
I want survival blankets, TEOTWAWKI type stuff. Would there be a discount on orders of 10 or more?

we have not settled on a factory yet. They may well be made in China in the end, maybe India. It all comes down to price/quality.

If you give me the name of your local woolen mill, I will ask them for a quote.
 
Wool blankets

I have a couple of old wool blankets still hanging around here I still use. I think my father brought two or more of them back from Prince Rupert after WW2 . RCAF issue.

I still have a Hudsons Bay one from many years ago . mint shape. I'd probley be in for a couple but I would purfer something in a double size or larger. the edges have to be done properly so they don't frey also.

Please get a quote from Stanfields here in N.S,they do good work and have always worked with a lot of wool, they supply LL beans gear! They may charge a bit more than china but you will save on shipping and I would pay a bit extra for Canadian made!
 
You'd think you save on shipping buying local but you usually don't. I don't understand that either.
