I have been on the search for Wool Hunting pants for a while and all I could find were from the US and crazy expensive.
I recently came across a Canadian supplier of Canadian Made Heavy Hunting pants. I got 3 pairs shipped for just over $350 total.

Thought I would share in case anyone else has had the same troubles finding.

Who is an online Canadian Supplier?

That would be very helpful, thanks.

looks like a bur and thistle magnet you guys wear something over them?

Putting something over a wool garment totally defeats the purpose. They are the quietest clothing in the bush - bar none.
I have hunted in very wet conditions and although the wool will get heavy, I never get cold when wearing it regardless how wet it is.
I have some fleece that I wear in the early season and they pick up burrs just like wool does.
Burrs are a minor issue. I would much rather be warm and have quiet clothing. Wool does both better than anything else.

I have a pair with shirt that I bought about 6 years ago from Le-Baron when they had them on sale, they are very good quality and should last for years if you treat them well and don't wash them in hot water or throw them in a dryer.

How is the 31" or 33" inseam in comparison to your run of the mill jean sizes? Comparable to 32" and 34" respectively?

Also, how is the fit on the pants? I'm normally a 'relaxed' fit jean - these similar in fit?

I got a pair of those green (24oz recycled wool blend with nylon) Big Bill wool trousers from Wholesale Sports a few years ago. I don't know if they still carry them. I say they are good gear, I prefer hunting when it is cold enough for wool because I don't have any other sort of trousers that are as good.

Welcome to CanadianGunnutz.com, sackling, when I need more Big Bill trousers I'll shop at gostwear
