There's no carnage... Me thinks our cfo's fetish for shrouding steel targets is based on junk science...

IPSC requires 7m, including the USPSA.
It's the Canadian government that has us shooting 10m, it's not a "by choice" thing.

Just got home from MI3gun. Lots of steel shot at with shotgun, rifle pistol and guess what... Not so much as a feeling got hurt

I'm slow, but there are some shooters who can reload a shotgun incredibly quick...
Of course the guys that are using Saiga's or other mag fed scatter guns are quickest... And the guy runnin' the USAS-12 with the 20 round drum mag well... He doesn't have to worry about reloading..
