Working up loads for 3 rifles...need some help please all .30 cal

Develop your loads from scratch with the intended bullets. Then, make plinker ammo with the old bullets and practice with them. practice standing and sitting, as you would in a hunting situation, and practice off both shoulders. If you are sitting and the animal approaches from the rear right, you have to switch to the left shoulder, so practice it.

I practice at 50 yards at cans and clays.

Excellent suggestion! Good plan. I really could use some more practice time as it was a busy summer with other activities.

I am reading the load data right now...the walnut shells have been vibrating for the last 2 days and I have all the brass polished and ready to go. Bench is cleaned, powder and primers are organized and will start with the .308 and 165gr SST. Need to decide if I want to go with W748 or 4064 or Varget...again, back to the books.

Cheers
