World English Sporting Clay Championship

I usually shoot around be 60% mark but I'll be going - just to compete on a world stage. Plus I won't be competing against the masters class shooters - I'll be competing against other shooters in my class - C class which is an average of 58% to 62%
 
Juniors are classified for the Main event by ICTSF Standard, 19 and under I believe. IF someone Fwow, can you confirm for me? Side events will be classed as per NSCA rules in order to accomodate the american shooters and to encourage as many tourists as possible. Kinda like Vegas, the more out of towners the more fun for the locals.

I spoke with Robert at the club today, looks like winscore is having trouble keeping up. we are over 200 deposits and registrations now. We just need the squadding to keep up!!!

It is a true World with 7 nations and not the NSCA versus CPSCA with a few Mexican thrown in at San Antonio! The organisation is number one with NO delays! I shot the Super Sporting 4 Parcours 45 minutes early! Todays first 100 English targets on Red course were typical Peckam dumb: edge on and all dropping. The scores reflect same with some of the top UK shooters shooting in the 70s! You can now see why he lost Southdown! But he did have a few stands that had us wondering why we missed including one stand that had one rising teal at speed to the left , followed by a slower one going right. There were a lot of 2s and 3s out of 6 on the scoreboard. Stoeger is there with a full variety of Beretta and Benelli shotguns to try, including the new DT11, 692 and the new SxS 486. As well, FN Sport has Blaser and CG and Kreighoff is there.
 
My son attended and competed in the Galt event and enjoyed himself immensely... he shot with a group of shooters that he met at the Canadians in Oshawa and they appear to be a good bunch of fellas. I have hunted and scattergunned for 40+ years, but have only busted clays over a home "swing arm" launcher... now, my son convinced me to join our local club, pick up a couple new guns and shoot skeet and clays weekly... we are having a good time with it and meeting some new people and making new friends... that is good stuff.
 
Can anyone that attended compare and contrast how the event went from a "regulatory body" stand point?

Ontario has gone to NSCA for a reason, but world stage, CNSCA was involved, so how how did it compare?
 
It was a very well run event comparable to 20 or so World shoots and as many International majors, that I have attended. I do not understand that as Canadians, some would go under the skirt of a FOREIGN shooting federation while we do have a Canadian federation for Sporting and FITASC Sporting! While shooting in the USA, I do shoot NSCA but I will not support ANY NSCA shoots in Canada. We are an independent country!
