Now that's a true hunter!!! They don't come any more pure then him. I would love to have his rifle.

Davy Crockett's .48 cal 'Old Betsy', on display at the East Tennessee Historical Society. The story goes that he traded it off for some land on which to build a cabin. Hard to tell, but it looks like it had been converted to percussion, almost certainly by a subsequent owner.
