A fellow called me the other day to ask me about his Lakefield .22lr
He said that the barrel looked partially smooth on one side of the inside of the barrel like the lands were wore down to the bottom of the rifling.
Is this possible?
Lead on steel doesn't produce enough friction to wear down steel.
He said its shot fine up until the past little while now he finds it hard to get a gouping.
Any advice?
