You're right... "burgandy Dodge Ram 2500 or 3500 with a bullet-hole in the tailgate & 2 big white guys" would've been a much better description.
thats why some farmers will spray paint pink "COW" on their animals so no dumbass will shoot them.. but pointing the gun at a person is a big nono. they should goto hell and burn in hell.

Yes, but it's a start. Since firearms have been pointed at people, that raises the seriousness level waaaaaay up and they WILL be looking for them. Maybe even word will get out and these morons will lay low for the rest of the season.

come hunt in rural quebec most people are smart and good about it but there are always that hunt a case of beer in the depanneur then go in for the kill sitting on the tail gate right before they load they guns and get to it at that point I get the hell outta dodge before they mistake me for a bear or moose or a deer

Depsite the vagueness of the desrcirption Burgandy is not a common PU truck color and considering the truck was used in a serious assault I am thinking the mounties would be happy to pull over a few wrong ones to find the right one.
Sit down and brainstorm every detail you can remember, if you write down every little thing you can remember you might be surprised how much worms it's way up from the recesses of a stressed brain.

They say that the tradition of hunting is in decline but I find it harder and harder every year to get away from other hunters, especially the idiots.
If hunting is truly in decline, it certainly isn't due to a lack of mouthbreathers out roaming the range roads in their trucks.....

And we don't have to wear orange in Alberta which is awesome. Although, I have been scoped more than once moving after being stationary by a hunter figuring out what I am.
I'm waiting for the thread (probably started by some 3 post rookie troll) titled "RCMP arrested me and my buddy and seized our guns while hunting" with a description of how they were peacefully communing with nature (and a bottle of high octane hooch) out on some logging road when some "fudd" started yelling at them, so they pointed their "tacticool" SKS at him while taking off in the truck and how they were just going to shoot in a gravel pit on crown land (that's legal right) and now they are getting charged for having no tags (they found the deer) and buddy's SKS had a broken mag stopper so he got charged with possession of a prohib device and what are the firearms orgs doing to look out for us guys anyways (but they don't have CSSA/NFA memberships).
I hunt in northern AB in oil patch country and have never seen ignorance like this, most up here work hard and spend a lot of money on hunting gear and take the bit of time they get pretty seriously for hunting.
These people almost sound like they are just idiots out to ruin a persons hunt probably cause they are to fat, lazy or stupid to actually hunt.
