Worst rifle you ever bought?

Norinco type 97- jammed constantly and has an unusual magwell. Also the sights were horrible.

Revolution armoury R4- biggest pile of crap. First gun I recieved the mag cap would loosen off because it didnt have a detent installed to lock it tight. Also it would only cycle sometimes with 3 inch shells anything else it was a bolt action. I asked for a replacement gun from sj the next one sent to me the gas cylinder stripped out zero threads left. I got a replacement barrel from the warranty and traded it off. Never will buy a turkish pos again

I don't really have any bad experience with guns that I acquired over the years.

I understand some members have issues with the Remington 700.
My experience with the two Remington 700s I own is the complete opposite.
One is a 1991 Mod. 700 Varmint special in 223, which I bought new and never regretted having it.
The other is a Mod 700 classic in 8mm Mauser, which I purchased last year in new condition.
I shot a 3/4 inch 5 shot group (100 y.) with it last Saturday, which is fantastic in my books.
My only dislike is the push feed action, as a Mauser guy, I like control feed actions better.

Now, if you want to buy a "worst ever" rifle you can try the Norinco M334. This rifle displays the worst possible workmanship (or sweatshop workchildship) imaginable for $500 plus tax.
I handled one a few weeks ago, and I can't believe that any dealer would put such cr*p in his store for sale.

Ithaca 22 lever, 1st 1 had head space issues kept blowing back in my face, 2nd 1 had a bent barrel was straight on the sight line but turned sideways was obvious 3rd 1 ( these were all new in the box from Simpson Sears) got home opened the box and obviously some one had been at it as the sights were missing and had miss matched wood. Gave up and got my money back.

I’ve bought some real rotten sewer pipes out of southern Ontario and Quebec. Low round count garbage.
A model 70 out of Edmonton where the barrel unscrewed taking it out of the packing.

Over the years I have purchased 12-13 new Remington 700's I would rate them as the 12-13 worst rifles purchases I ever made, ever single one of them needed work either to make them shoot or even function properly.

Any of those happen to be a Rem. 700 VTR?

Bought a used Savage 300 WM at the Brandon gun show, and despite having clean rifling, it shot like crap. Every shot the point of impact at 100 yards would go up another inch or two. It wasn't the scope or the mounts, it was the crap barrel that couldn't say straight with any heat at all.

I'm absolewtly dun with Norinco.
That's it

First was a LeeEnfield that was the type of rifle you were safe as long as I aimed at you . Next I never bought it per say but it cost me a lot. Was a original AR 7 that is the biggest piece of junk I ever seen. Not sure about all my Axis and Turkish rifles and other guns they might be boat anchors too.

Browning SA 22 It was a jamomatic which was disappointed as I heard how great they were.It was very accurate but you could only fire 3 round or so before it jammed.Tried different ammo but it still jammed

Wow, mine was bought new in the early 80s; killed over 1000 racoon over a number of years night hunting for fur. It's still going strong.

Yes they do have a good reputation on average, I must have got the one lemon of the bunch! :(

I ended up getting a 10/22 blued/wood which I still have. :)
