What would be the ballpark worth of a limited edition Remington 700 'Classic' in the coveted 6.5x55mm ctg? This was the ctg for the 700 Classic in 1994 only. Classic style stock in nicely figured wood. Barrel & action blued. Barrel 22" clean with no sites. Overall rifle is minty with very low round count. Redfield one piece base & rings.

i have one. not mint wood stock has scars and came with sps stock brass and dies i payed $550. i would pay $650 for a mint one. the calibre is rare in a rem. you can get some pretty good velocities in 6.5x55 in a modern rifle.

I also have one of these. I love the rifle and have shot it a lot, I mean a lot!! It is on it's third barrel [just installed, thanks, Guntech] It still looks great, and will put 3 - 125 Partitions into less than an inch at 200 meters. What more could one ask for. BTW, I wouldn't sell it for less than $700.00 NAA. Regards, Eagleye.

sold one @ the store I work at this past winter for $750+12% tax, it was in MINT shape. my buddy bought it and it is a SHOOTER!

So, $650 - $750 would be the reasonable range for a minty one.

Thanks for the info guys!

Are you selling or buying ? That is a pretty nice rifle .

I am looking to put a reasonable value on it for selling. If it does sell it won't be via the EE at this point as there is a friend who has expressed an interest in it. If he declines then I keep it.

Edit..... Well, he took it.... :( :slap:
