Worth trading a M&P 9mm for a CZ 75B?

You're good with either but I chose the M&P and sold the CZ. Lighter, striker fired, slightly better capacity and I bought the CORE version.

I hate DA/SA guns and I actually carry my pistols so it was a super easy choice for me.

I have the M&P 9 and a CZ SP-01 Shadow, I have shot both extensively and I would say have both if you can. Accuracy of one vs the other? This is a red herring. They are pistols and both entirely accurate enough to hit A zones up to 25 yards.

The M&P is way less $$$ than the CZ especially if you bought a range kit. I like a heavy metal gun as much as the next guy but in my opinion the M&P is the more reliable and easy to use gun (striker fired). I don't really get excited by the M&P because it ain't beautiful or heavy in the hand or particularly interesting in any regard but it is the pistol I would have if I had to choose because it has proven to be a great shooter and realiable.

Get what turns you on but don't buy or trade for a CZ because guys say that it is way accurate or twice the gun, as neither is true in service, as in shooting, as in results!

By the way I read your post, if you are doing a straight trade with no money changing hands, the CZ is a way better deal esp. with all the included accessories. Basically a range kit for a range kit. Pro for the CZ is, IMO, a better quality gun in all respects esp. in inherent accuracy, pointability and trigger feel in SA. Pro for the M&P is light weight and only one trigger pull to master. Like everyone says, both are good guns. If you can't swing both, the CZ will not let you down.

cz for the win! Though accuracy needs a bit improvement on my gun and recoil spring is a bit worse for wear (after about 3000 rounds or so).....

Try to see if any way you can keep them both. I have number of CZ and one MP9 Pro. They just shoot so great in different ways. But if you ask me which the only one gun I would keep? CZ definitely will get my vote.
