Does anyone know what "type" of followers the LAR-10 mags come with?

For $2-3 / each, would it be worthwhile to replace the original followers with something aftermarket (namely Magpul gen3)??

Might be getting into an interesting area. Unaltered, the Lar 10rd mag is legal in a semi-auto centerfire rifle. Now would replacing the follower be considered altering?

Every 'generation' I have seen in Canada of the LAR-15 magazines have come with one style of anti-tilt follower or another. My original LAR-15 mags (2008ish) came with grey Magpul followers.

I just checked mine.

They are grey, stamped "5.56" on top of the follower and "5 - AL" on the bottom. I bought them last fall.

Does anyone know who might make this kind?

I got mine off of amazon. 3 pack for $8 plus $5 shipping...I love them. easy to install and overall work amazing...plus they look badass haha...I got the yellow ones

Wolverine, Questar, and a few others, they should cause them to be prohib or anything, since it doesn't actually alter the mag to allow it to fit anymore than the legal limit. Intact they actually enable you to carry 1 less....

Also, I'd recommend the Magpul L-plates or ranger plates...
