would a bright SS finish scare big game?

i am thinking that flashes of sun off of "bright" gear would definately alert game.
 
i hunt with a rem 700 sps stainless and i was 50 yards from a deer (moose season :) ) and it didnt seem to scare it at all. but ill be the first to say that the rem sps satinless isnt very bright. i dont really think it matters

They really don't appear as Shiny as that photo makes it look, more of a dull Finnish, not Polished bright like the Rugers if that helps.
My take for what it's worth...if the animal sees the "glare" from your stainless rifle you were probably busted already anyways:)
Move slow and keep the sun at your Back;)
 
I've got the 336XLR, I don't think that it will be a problem either as you can always grasp the receiver in your hand and nearly cover it completely. On the other hand, if you wear eye glasses...that could theoretically present a similar problem. I do, and it doesn't seem to reduce my chances. Go ahead and buy that gun man.
