Howdy I am looking at buying an SKS stock off of boyds stocks, but the only model it says they make stocks for is the SKS YUGO 59/66 , What is the difference between russian made SKS ? based on how most SKS stocks are sold ive seen its pretty much any model fits ? thanks!

I don't know but I would bet that Boyd's only lists it as being for a Yugo is because in the US there is some stipulation against Russian or Chinese that they would say you can't have it, even though it the same rifle... Stupid US laws almost as bad as stupid Canadian laws for licensed owners?

The bayonet channel is longer on a Yugo 59/66 stock. That's the only major difference. It will fit.
