Would this be frowned upon?

wes

just a note for you. if you do you BB in Alberta, you must have prior approval of the BC Section Coordinator. This is because you must be a member of the section you live in before you can belong to any other section.

It is much easier to get permission ahead of time then after the fact.

why would there be a rule like that >??? ipsc is ipsc and the black badge is the black badge..... there are more courses in calgary then anywhere else in western canada and it is just about the same for me to drive there as it is to prince george (about 3 hours difference) with the benefit of shooting in a nice warm/cool indoor range.

sounds kind of goofy, so what if I want to shoot in both provinces then since alberta is closer to me then BC as far as venues to go shoot at. do I have to join both IPSC Alberta and IPSC BC ?? I thought IPSC was an "international" organization and especially in canada there should be no borders.....

seriously guys lets keep it on topic. the OP was asking about his grips. not camo.

It's just so IPSC BC will recognize you took the course in Alberta and have it documented
No different than going to school in one province and having your records transferred
Last time I looked Fort St John is in BC
As a member of IPSC BC you're a member of IPSC Canada
We quite often get people from BC competing in Alberta (and vice versa)
In fact I think I seen a few on the squad list for Lethbribge

Here's the back plate on my IPSC Glock. I've had several guys at matches, mention how much they like it.

For me I don't care what guys are wearing, as long it is right in safety department and doesn't cause a problems on political spectrum.
After all, this is sport not military school.
If I wanna wear army paints, I can join army.:)

But then you do care.............and that is a problem.

That anyone gets all PC about someones clothes is pathetic.

The corrective action is to EDUCATE the public not run from them.

The same thing with the OP and his grips. They are from a TV show not an indication that he worships skulls.

Education is the key

Hey Storm, doesn't your daughter have a pair of fluorescent pink camo pants?
I imagine the only ones who would have a problem with those are people who are prone to seizures....

The grips do look pretty cool by the way.
