Would you be concerned using these Accubonds?

It is curious, I've loaded plenty of Accubonds that all came in cardboard boxes and never seen this before. I would have never guessed the cardboard was the issue.
That's because the manufacturers of the cardboard weren't using recycled products in the mix. The cardboard may not have been properly cured as well. We used to run into such issues at the last place I worked.

The paper and glues used to manufacture the cardboard hadn't dried completely before being shipped.

Just opened a new box of Accubonds and half of them are discolored, almost burnt looking. What do you guys think, any performance issues using them still? I have never run into this situation before. At $2 a bullet you kinda expect better quality.

For the price of those projectiles I would have returned for refund .
But, I have been known to purchase factor blemished seconds when Kesselrings was a respectable business in Alger Washington.
Have you used these in the past and how did they shoot or was this a first time trail run?
Tight Groups,
Rob

First time for this rifle (new to me Tikka T3 260rem)

Just be cautious using tumbler as you might damage the tip that some shooters claim might create accuracy issue.
No ! They don’t really tumble ! they roll around in media in a vibration machine missed named a tumbler . I have vibration cleaned lots of corroded mis colored bullets over the years . No Problems 👍

Another interesting email:

As those were built many years ago and the discoloration takes 10 years or so to present its self, as well as temp and humidity effects the progression, it wasn't discovered for some time.

If you are within the USA, send me your address and I’ll request that a return label be emailed to you for returning those for exchange.

Thank You

I bought some LRABs and some of the tips were bent and I emailed nosler and got a "its normal, is anything actually damaged to the point where catastrophic failure may happen?" response

I realize in both cases, yours and mine, that these are fine to shoot. It is just not great customer service, I'm a bit surprised to be honest.

I have seen them like that before. Just a bit or oxidization. They shoot just like normal. Maybe notice it if you where shooting groups out last 600 yards. But hunting purposes, and that round. Not gonna notice a difference.
