Would you be happy with these groups? i dunno if i am

7MM Rem mag

The shooting you've done looks good to me for a hunting rifle. On a nice warm day try a box of remington 150 grain balistic tips, they may not be the best choice for a hunting bullet, however they shoot very well in most rifles. Enjoy the sport Bill.

An inch and a half at 100 yards is a very respectable group for a factory rifle with factory ammo. What type of game are you planning to hunt? If you are going for bigger stuff like elk or moose the partition would be a fine choice. If just going for deer I prefer the Hornady 162 BTSP or try the Federal Premium Siera Gameking 165 BTSP.:)

If I can put my shots in a 8 inch pie plate AT 100-300 YRDS. Thats all I would need for my groupings. Bang Flop BBQ MMMMMM. Remeber in the field hunting is not like range conditions. Dont worry about SUB MOA to much and practice more off hand shots. When at range by myself I will load gun, set on table run back to the gate, run back to bench and the shoot either standing, kneeling whatever to practice, but I hit 8inch circle 9 times out of 10.
