The receiver is 10 parts screwed together, all machined with a tabletop mill.

The design is just so simple it's incredible. I know that if i had the money and ten chinese employees, i'd be churning out hundreds of those babies. Also, a 80% kit looks pretty un-troublesome to do!

It is far more labour intensive to make one by this method than to machine one from a solid block if you have access to the right equipment.

And this lacks a few handy things like a bolt catch and captive pins.
 
The OP was imageleeching off of a geocities website they cant take alot of traffic before they go down.

Think AR-15 lower made with a mechano set.
 
there is a better desing where a normal forging is cut in 2 or 3 parts that you can screw together each part individualy is WAY WAY les then 80% but you only need a srewdriver to finish one
 
If it was cheap enough, sure I'd buy it. (you ought to see some of the junk I own!)
And it would be completely legal, as long as the proper paperwork was filled-out.
