hye CanAm, I was trying to put a 100$ deposit for a non-res Type 97, but can't figure it out. It would only let me pay for the whole thing.

is the $800 price tag now firm? i would love one of these but I dont want to put a deposit to find out come the new year they are going to be $1000+......also what calibers are they going to be offered in? .223?

The first post shows them with no handel I would like one like that, are they the ones coming? or is is just the ones with the carry handel that are coming in?

the price is $850 and will remain so by all indications. Marstar has not spoken up. It could be less. They are 5.56mm.

The 'no handle' one is an entirely other design. Some are here at ridiculous prices. Time will tell what the price ends up being.

So will we also be able to get replacement parts for them?

Such as a barrel?

And are the barrels threaded on or press fit pinned?

They use a new form of loctite developed for the Chinese space program. The barrel is slipped in and glued. I am sure it will hold fine. You remove it with heat. ;) I really have no idea until I get my hands on one.
