Would you pay $4400.00 for this??

Anything Rare and Difficult to obtain can have an inflated value. However ultimately any object regardless of how rare is only as valuable as what someone is willing to pay for it and for how much someone is willing to accept to part with it.

Thats what scared me lol. There are crazy folk out there.

So people are crazy because they have a use for or are interested in things you're not? I think its crazy that anyone would pay $4000 for a 1911 but to each their own. These Glocks obviously wouldn't appeal to anyone except the few who would actually use them for training or are collectors. Just because you don't have a use for them, doesn't mean they're not worth the money to someone else. Sometimes this forum just sounds like a bunch of old ladies #####ing and whining about the prices at Sears.

###est post ever...

Having said that, these guns are obviously meant for a trainer and a style of training that most people in this thread have no concept of.

I saw this EE post a few days ago. Half considered them until I saw the price. I am a glock fan and I like to collect interesting firearms tid bits but that's $1466.66 per gun. Worth my money at $300-400 each. Hate to pass them up but that price is "eccentric"

Would I pay that for those? No.

Does that mean he's crazy for asking that? Might not be.

Most in this thread are judging the price compared to the actual firearms. That is not what these are. They are their own market. A diehard Glock collector might see that price as worth it.

First off, it's only worth that sort of money to someone who wants something Glock that you cannot just go to the store and buy.

Second, I remember when Hockey cards and Comic books used to be worth a lot of money. I had more than a few of each that were worth a couple hundred at one time.

Third, I can say the same thing as most here about half the guns we can buy. Tavors, RFB, Swiss Arms, etc. They are all extremely over priced yet most in this thread own some. Then there are these "Anniversary" fancy edition guns like Colt's 1911 that are double the price of what a normal 1911 sells for. Yet people just keep buying them.
