I have found a store with quite a bit still in stock.. But at $449 im wondering if I should just go with tulammo or spend the extra hundred on 1000 rounds of pmc.. What do you guys think?

Why buy that complete #### ammo that is NOT even brass cased,

Says its brass cased but its some type of brass bimetal mixture
It wears out extractors after 1 case
The stuff Is dirtier than your mother,
And smells like her too

It's not hard to tell

I've put 2000 rounds of the 45 through a top quality firearm it's needed 2 extractors replaced since (dulls up the sharp case rim grabbing point,

No other ammo does this

4 thou of American factory brass cased still harp and shiny

It ain't brass doesn't matter how much you want it to be but it's not 100% brass

It's cheap for a reason they use dirty chineaee components and pass off some things as the real thing when they just aren't

Guess my extractor didn't get the memo as it has chewed through 12k of this stuff in the last two years.

You are correct that it is kinda stinky tho, but PMC is just as dirty. Also kinda random on the pressures round to round. Certainly not precision ammo, but ok for CQB.

At that price I'd buy it before Tula, but I'd probably wait to stock up on a PMC sale.

When CanadaAmmo first brought it in and put it on sale it was a lot cheaper if you purchased four cases at a time. If memory serves it worked out to around $140 per case of 1300 delivered to my doorstep by CanPar.

I guess I was lucky with the Chinese 5.56 I bought. It was very consistent and accurate in four different match quality rifles. It worked well in a 1976 made Mini 14 as well. Now it works very well in a Tikka T3 and a Rem mod 7 I built up for my grandson. I have only run into one problem with it. The flash holes are not always centered. A friend of mine found several that didn't even have flash holes drilled. Others say it's fine if you aren't serious about accuracy.

The powder in those cases is a clone of BLC2. They use the same powder charge as the old US military load with 55gr FMJ. 25.4 grains of BLC2. I pulled a hundred bullets to weigh the powder and bullets to check for consistency as far as weight goes. All were within plus or minus .2 grains. Excellent for mass produced military spec ammo. That's when I noticed the offset flash holes. The primer pockets were centered perfectly.

I have reloaded the cases with centered flash holes I kept up to 20 times and they're still going strong.

If you don't reload and don't want to take a chance go for something else that you know will be good. I wouldn't be willing to pay $499 plus taxes for a crate.

I've shot cases and cases of both Norinco 45 acp and 223, never had any issues at all, no failures and I'm still reloading the brass to this day.

And the cases are brass, without a doubt.

Judging by my own experience and others, maybe your rifle has a crappy amemrrrrrican extractor?

I've shot 5k plus of these ammo, thru my KAC and Swiss arms, had few duds yes, wear? no

Makes me question what kinda top quality firearm that is too. Also put a couple thou through my colt and all it did was make the muzzle very black.
