What really jumps out at me is the different font style name Parker Bros in gold on bottom from an original. Thanks, everyone for all your comments. Guess it comes down to a personal choice.
Before leaving this subject, I would like to discuss upgrades which were fairly common with Parkers back in the 50's and 60's when labour was much cheaper. Pachmayr in California, in particular, upgraded a lot of Parkers and imitated the high grades like the A1 Special and Invincibles. Pachmayr normally identified their work so it wouldn't be confused with original Parkers---but not all upgrades are readily identified.
Anyway, this Parker upgrade which is being offered at an upcoming auction caught my eye---its beautiful, looks next to new and is considerably more affordable than the real deal.
What do you think?

Both of the current Parker's you own are gorgeous.
One refurbished, the other with its patina ....
Both tell very exciting stories.
