Would you shoot slugs out of a Benelli Super Vinci?

This spring I picked up a Super Vinci that has been awesome for shooting trap and waterfowling. However it is almost deer season and I am wondering if anyone would use this gun to shoot slugs? I'm sure the gun could handle slugs with the appropriate choke, but would you really shoot them? Obviously I don’t want to do any damage to the barrel or gun.

Thanks!

You're good to go with any lead Foster type slug out of any choke, though Improved Cylinder generally gives the best results. Don't use Saboted slugs, they're for rifled barrels only.

Challenger makes good slugs for your application, as does Brenneke. For more run of the mill stuff, Federal and Remington also make slugs.

Be sure to get solid lead slugs designed for smoothbore shotguns.

X2. Any Forster slug will do. I like Brennekes best of all.
