Wow thanks for the input guys. I was hesitant, nothing wrong with my Kimber, great gun. But always wanted a Colt. I just didn't want to hear from someone after that it was a dumb move. Do you guys think this should be a straight up trade?

Well, honestly the Kimber is probably the better quality/fit pistol, but the value of the pony on the side is high. Personally i'd trade the kimber for the colt, sell the colt at a premium, then buy a new kimber and pocket the difference for ammo. Every time I shoot a colt i bleed..they leave everything sharp.

actually, i'd probably buy a STI or Dan Wesson, rather then the kimber...
