Yeargh it's ooogily. I like that 'may or may not have a safety or these grips'.. :) Meaning - they're cheap and after I heard the price, I didn't care what they looked like. haha

Seriously though - as a first handgun or for someone on a budget, I think it will sell pretty well. DEFINATELY the cheapest handgun in Canada.

I searched this site but didn't find anything about it.

Its very tempting, I don't have any handguns so $99 its pretty good. Its ugly as hell though and may not have a safety lol.

marstar has the same one for 100$ more? i think its the same model? but yeah someone on a budget or looking to see if they want to get into pistols would be drawn by the price

I know it's cheap and a good thing to have "a pistol" in your name "just in case" laws change... but why not wait a month and get a used $400 CZ 75?

Plenty on EE or with Gunnar at Armco.

This looks exactly like the 7.62x25 I bought from Marstar for nearly twice the price. That version of the Norc is crude and ugly and suffers frequent stovepipes, jams, and failures to feed -- all of which I believe are caused by the cheap lacquered ammunition I bought. The gun itself is as reliable as a sledge hammer -- and appears to have been carved out of one.

Grips are no good. Mine came already cracked and crumble away a little bit more every time I shoot.

You can't lose at the price; even if you hate the gun, you can use it to experiment with refinishing techniques.

For a person on a tight budget or you want to have something different this is great. the basic design is rock solid and the designer worked with colt and John Browning taking some of the idea's of the 1911 home with him, including using the barrel link. I just got one similar in 7.62x25 and it quickly shed the silly safety, which has a habit of going into the safe position while firing. Go buy one and have fun.

For years GNZs have asked how come we don't have budget pistols like those in US. Well, here it is!

I decide call it "9mm Wal-mart Special".

Santa is going to bring me one.:) Probably okay for ####zengiggles, and for a guinea pig in bluing/stoning/polishing.

I had a google look, and it seems that sometimes its just a matter of pulling a spacer from the mag, or from the inside rear of the magwell, barrel swap, and a bushing to go with 7.62x25. Sometimes its worse.

There's also a matter of whether its a model A or B...one is supposed to be good, the other, not so much.

I noticed a constant complaint that the ejection port is too short to eject a loaded 7.62 though, dremel magic perhaps??:D

I'd buy one, and maybe I will later. 100 bucks, phuck who cares if it looks like a turd on a stick.

If it goes bang and the barrel isnt shaped like a banana then its good enough for me.
