I think CanAm mentioned having a 2 inch stack of orders for the pistol in question. Just be glad you're not one of the guys who ordered a Russian sks last year.:D

lol...I ordered one last spring and like everyone else, am still waiting. I ordered my m213 on the 10 of January. So I am not expecting it to be processed for a little while yet...but dreams can come true...right?

Queued since Jan 10..... no worry, I'm probably flogging mine [cheap] as soon as I get it anyway..... I'm really a 1911 .45ACP guy anyway.......... ;)

Is anyone out there waiting for an original Soviet TT-33? I ordered one from Frontier a few weeks ago to come packaged with my Russian SKS. I saw lots of people ordering the 9mm at a great price, but the price of the 7.62x25 round and the cool factor of the original Soviet pistol swayed me.

Ellwood Epps has some Tokarev's for 189$
I like the 7.62x25mm cartridge a lot too, it;s kind of the magnum of it's day.
If I want to shoot 9mm I'll just use my NP34

Yeah, I ordered an SKS from Frontier Feb. of last year, & still don't have it. Now that's a long wait for a firearm!

My Canam order was made on Dec. 21 & status is still "queued".

Maybe their being processed in alphabetic order :D, That's what I heard Frontier was doing with SKS orders. Be a bit*h to be Polish & have a last name that started with Z. I have a feeling registration has something to do with the processing time.

Update:

OK, got the reloading issue sorted finally, after a considerable amount of fiddling. This gun likes really skinny 9mm's - had to shorten the OAL considerably.

Good news:

-The $99 Tok fires my rounds just as reliably as commercial 9mm;
-I found it more accurate than expected, at least shooting at clay pigeons on a Malahat hillside from about 15-20 yards;
-The relative accuracy is probably because the trigger was better on this than on the last Tok (7.62 variety) I had;

The downside:

-Some feeding problems with both commercial and reloads, typically on round 3 in each magazine, and usually once thereafter. An annoying "fix" was to push up on the mag with the little finger of my supporting hand, this would allow the round to chamber. I dimly recall that my old Tok had a similar magazine issue. Don't know if this will change with time or with a squirt of something into the mag itself...

I ordered on Jan 13, so I guess I'll be waiting on everyone's range reports! It'll be my first restricted so I'm a little wound up about it.

So does this one in fact have a chrome lined barrel?
