Range Report

Took a quick trip to the range with my M213 with the magwell spacer removed and the more common wider 9mm mag installed (the one with the spacer in the mag itself).

Using Wolf reloads (9mm 135gr Lead), I shot 21 rounds and all fed and ejected like a champ. I can't really coment on accuracy, as I pretty much aimed and fired, as I was more concerned about how it operated. The shots were at a 2' X 2' target set 25 yds away and all hit the paper. I'll take more care next time.

I didn't even notice the safety that has attracted all the attention. It's a non-issue in my mind.

Get off the fence and buy one.

Got it yesterday, cleaned and oiled, smoothed the feed ramp a bit. I just came back from the range, 100 rounds of win 9mm 115gr. 3 misfeeds while chambering the first round from a fresh mag. No misfeeds while in operation. After about 80 rounds the extractor pin worked it's way loose and the extractor came out. The spring was still in the gun so I put the extractor back in, re-inserted the pin and fired 20 more rounds, no problem. No problems with accuracy. great deal for $99

Is CanadaAmmo including the short term ATT inside the parcel? When i buy a restricted directly from a store they apply for the ATT and i was wondering if the same holds true here.
Chances are i will have to go to the post office to pick it up and i want to know if i need to apply for it myself. Thought i would ask here so that Mark doesn't use up his valuable time answering emails when he could be packaging up peoples pistols for shipping!

KRASHED; don't fret. I ordered mine in early jan and still showing qeued. If you don't see any progress by the beginning of March (depending when you ordered) I would give Mark a shout via phone/e-mail and see what's up. Just gonna have to be patient though, very busy time for purchases and transfers right now.

Cheers. :D

thanks, im just overly antsy to get it!

Well, i went to the range yesterday again, and well out of 50 rounds of federal ammo, i had it jam once, it fired but failed to extract the casing. So out of 100 rounds so far ive had 1 jam. Pretty damn good for $99.

I was at the Edmonton gun show today and the Norinco's were selling for $200.00. And they were moving.

So - I guess people are willing to pay more than $125.00 for them.

Why change for the different mags?

This may be an easy one, but I'm a pistol newbie, so...

Andy (and others), what is the advantage of changing the pistol (remove the spacer inside the mag well) to accomodate the more common mag, like the ones sold by LeverArms?

Finally, I had a chance to I to take the gun to the range this afternoon. I only shot 30 rounds with it (124 gr Win Clean 9mm). I had 3 FTF-s but I don't blame the gun for it. It was one of the magazines. It fed 5 rounds fine but after that every single round got stuck half way between the magazine and the chamber. I have no idea why. The other magazine was working OK. The magazines didn't drop, I had to pull them out of the gun. Also, I noticed that the front sight was (still is...) slightly bent. I was shooting a bit too low and to the right. At least, constantly... :D Grouping was about 4-5" @ 20 yards. The trigger is a little heavy but I think it's not a serious issue especially with a $99 gun.
The thing is, I didn't have high expectations. :D
But hey, it's a fun gun and the price is right. I'm happy with it. :D

Range report

Finally had chance to take my new toy to range last week. What a suprise! Pics says all. 15 yards with my hand load. 8 shots.
