I fired the ARX 160. Nothing to write home about. If retail is 2K, it will be very similar to the same price up here. Maybe 1-200 more.

I'm still waiting for the ACR DMR.

I did the same. Way better options available. Plus that thing is plain ol ugly!

Why is everyone saying its non restricted? There is no frt its still under review. It could be prohibited just like the scar.

Scar was prohibited due to the issue of it being easily converted into a F/A platform (apparently). Beretta said a long while back that the receivers between the military and civilian versions are not easily converted on the ARX line. So, it seems that issue is of no consequence. There also didn't appear to be any other reason than that as to why the Scar didn't make it in (IIRC).

As well, Stoeger/Beretta will actively push for this product to come into Canada, as they are even offering a NR version right out of the box. FNH really doesn't care too much about our market, and judging from the FS2000's and Scar's that were submitted, there was no outright created NR version for our market.

Of course, with the BS going on lately the ARX could well become prohibited based upon some utter nonsense. However, I believe it will be accepted without any special restrictions placed upon it.
