Well I finally bought my shot gun. I thought I was going to have to get this entire custom stuff dun on my own but have a look at what Remington made in small #s.

Remington
Model 870 Tactical Police Issue
12 GA Pump Shotgun
20” BBL CYL Bore BS 3”
Extended mag
Pistol grip stock
OD Green full gun


Only 20 of these bad boys were brought into Canada. I bought mine from Smoking Gun FX.
Great shotgun so far. Modifications so far, the extra six round holder on the side, the five round holder on the stock, a Remington 870 Express barrel 26”, Full choke, Modified choke, improved cylinder and Remington fibre optic front cite.
One hell of a gun.

the price is okay, but not the best for vancouver, but i guess a premium is paid for a gun that's instock and you can take home right away...

congrats have fun, if you are interested bring it out to trap/skeet at PoCo

LeBarons offers the basic 870 for $324+tax $372
 
I bought the barrel form some one on gun nuts.

Not sure off the top of my head if it said Express but it said Express on the sales tag.

So if you add up the factory extras on top of the $372
- mag extension 100.00?
- OD green finish 200.00
- pistol grip stk 140.00
This shot gun should cost around 800.00 to make your self. Not including the other things I added on.
 
Hey I just found these shotguns on the Remington site.... weird thing is that is says it is supposed to come with an 18" barrel (not 20") although they make a 20" version but not with the stock you have.

Something seems fishy with Smoking Gun... I am going to call them and find out what is going on.

Umm the title of the gun, name, and stats are all from the box it came in. How do measure the barrel? Is it the full length or is there a particular point that you would measure from? Mine was brand new and in an un-open box. I’ve spent a lot of money at Smoking Gun FX and feel I know the guys well enough to say they would not try and pull the wool over my eye's on something like that. I have also looked for my shotgun on the Remington web pages and found nothing of it. This is a police shotgun, it has all the police markings. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Nothing fishy here,we had 5 of those guns at Hunter's, priced the same, last one I got I did I dealer trade with Kelly. They were a bit of a fluke for Canada, registered as police, but they say Tactical on the receiver.
 
Yeah I called and it seemed good - they were sold out though. :(

Most likely the error was with Remingtons website (I noticed they had a couple errors with specs. on some other guns.)
Too bad.

Anybody know any of those with the Knoxx industries "SpecOps" stock made it to Canada?
