WOW!!! just checking out Joe Salters site cant beleave

My only complaint with Salter's is that he buys items here in Canada, some of it of historical or of collector significance to us, and then sells it directly in the US.

Ideally, he should offer it for sale in Canada first, then if it doesn't sell here, then by all means, take it to the US market.

Besides this, I have no problems with the company; he can ask whatever price he wants for an item; I just reserve the right not to buy it at that price if I think it's unreasonable.

I have bought and sold stuff from Joe over the years and have had no problems at all. He(as a dealer) pays consistently higher prices than any other dealer in eastern Canada and I have sold items to him several times. He also charges top dollar for stuff and that is not a crime. If you think the price too high, buy elsewhere. Any suggestion that Joe is crooked or deceitful is BS as I have always found him a straight up guy to deal with as well as being THE most knowledgeable collectable firearm guy around. As far as selling items in the U.S. I would have to say that as a business man you are going to sell merchandise where ever you can get the highest return. The gun market in the U.S. has always been much stronger stateside than here in Canada.
