3 gun isn't for everyone.

Some like it cuz it equalizes their mediocre level of one discipline in your case the shotgun mr. paul ...
On a serious note I just don't think the rifle is the right tool to run short and close up courses of fire nor was it designed with that in mind , as per shotgun that is even more true, a bird gun designed to please the English aristocrat turned into a close combat fast shooting tool with some practically unrealistic reload pouches hanging on your waist.
This does not mean one can't be mediocre if decides to play one game only, I make a good example of that.

I'm selling off all of my 3gun gear and focusing on mini rifle.
Its the way of the future.
LOL. I'm less than mediocre in all disciplines.
I like to focus on shotgun because of the challenge. I feel it takes more skill to truly master shotgun than any of the others. So many variables to keep straight, it requires the most thinking.
But that's all behind me now.
Mini rifle is taking over.
Maybe the risk of biting his tongue is the reason why slavex doesn't shoot it?

Right... that's why much if not most of the rifle play at our favorite 3 gun events takes place at ranges between 100 and 600 yards.
'Round here of course we're somewhat limited as we're restricted to "approved" ranges... Most of which do not have firing distances beyond 100 yards.
That said.... Even when we do set rifle targets at 75-100 yards not many people can hit 'em anyway.
zing, nope that has nothing to do with it. I just find it painful to watch it honestly. Even the really good guys, it bores me. Handgun shooting excites me, long distance rifle shooting excites me, but so far, 3 gun, bores me. Most especially the shotgun portion of it. But I fully support it as a sport, we need more sports like it. I just don't have any interest in it.
