Wow I was at cabalas in Winnipeg and saw they have sks's and then I saw the price $299 + tax = $334 wow and they are ###x stocks to

It all depends what their supplier charges, these SKS' probably changed hands several times before being sold to your local store. Each middle man takes his cut and you end up paying several companies for one rifle. I had the same thing with one of my local shops. This time last year he had a good selection of nice Russian refurbs for $200 plus tax, now theyre $285 plus tax 1 year later. 15 minutes away at another shop theyre $225. Let the uninformed make the mistake of buying one at that price, there are plenty of deals to be had in Canada.

Oh yeah u just have to know where to look wholesale here charges $189.00 + tax and I got to pick though a couple rifles to find a nice one and cabalas won't do that
