wow- saw 2 big bucks fighting!

I was on my way to get some gas last night when I saw a group of about 30 deer in a field! Got the binocs out and started to spot to see some racks.

Well, i've seen it so many times in movies, but this time they were right there, probably 250 yards away, 3 bucks together and they, of which one was huge, I could see the rack bare eye at that distance, but anyways this was something amazing, I had an hard time getting to sleep last night :)

i'll go back tonite and try to take pics!

too bad I don't hunt that property... hunting season opens this week-end :):)

Wouldn't it be great if it was always that easy????
 
hehe, I know.. but its worth a try, chances are there will be still a few deer going there, just hoping the big one will still be there!!
 
piopolis. close to lac megantic, i Went back last night and there were 5 bucks there, but not the big one.... Tried to take pics with the digital cam but at 12x, the resolution sucked and could only see spots where the deer were...

Either the hunting pressure is not as much as where I go or there are more males there... some were as close as 100 yards and not paying attention to me at all on the roadside and 4-way flashers...
