Yep, that was really cool. My goal is 12X12 at 500m and will get to it once the snow goes away. The amount of elevation needed to reach out to 1000yds, require some exotic and pricey optics. So will just work out to what my long travel scopes can do.

I have to get out and get shooting, it's been a really crappy winter healthwise, so hopefully I'll get geared up soon and then we'll get together. Did you do much speed shooting last winter?
 
clayne_b, used to be a member here, and did some youtube videos on long range shooting with his CZ scout it was impressive. It was more like long range Lobbing. There is a reason the warning on the side of the 22lr ammo box says dangerous within a mile and half. Its true.

We did just that at Heffley creek last year!! It was awesome!! I might be contacting you when this whole codiv19 thing is over to join you for a day or two :)

The next hurdle maybe shutting down the back country as there are few fire crews now.... may not be the best of years.
