Canadian Tire in Rocky Mountain House, AB, presently has a sale on selected rifles (about 60 of them)...35 % off retail price!

They are clearing older stock to make room for new upcoming shipments I guess. I guess these guys have over 400 firearms in inventory. Sale will last until all selected rifles are sold. Sale started last Friday and the Hunting Pro guy told me it will be posted on their Facebook page Monday.

Was looking around for a .243. I had my eyes on a Ruger American Stainless Steel I knew they had. Was already gone when I was there yesterday and went for $342.00. So I settled for a Browning X Bolt Hunter in .243...$571.00...not bad!

Anyone living near there should pay them a visit. Worth the trip!

Too bad you weren't there a day earlier, the Browning Winter rebate ended on March 31st. Coulda knocked off another $50.
 
Canadian Tire is a big enough corporation to buy in bulk and the only store which periodically sell at a lost just to rotate inventory. You will not see big sales like this at Cabelas. Wish I was closer to where you are or that they had online sales.
