I had the chance today to hold, drool over a Sauer in 375H&H with a Ziess 2.5-10 scope on it!
The bolt moves like it's hydraulic...
 
Sauer is top notch. I used a 30-06 in the outback last fall with open sights, belongs to a good friend and was trying it out. It was a dream for a bush gun! Dropped my animal at about 175yards one shot using a 180gr CT FailSafe. Only prob is that I wanted same style in 375HH and thats not an option from Sauer. To boot the darn things are worth a buck or two!!

Did you scoop that monster??

No..I stopped by to show him a rifle we had refinished..he has a couple he wants done. When he came into the kitchen holding the Sauer I thought..OMG..I hope that isn't one...:eek:
 
Yeah i tought about buying a Sauer, but it seems that getting spare parts is a pain in the a... My 'smith told me it is a matter of years sometimes. FN sports is the importer and i heard their service is very bad... Too bad those are great guns at a relatively acceptable price.
 
I have a Sauer 200 take down rifle and have been trying to get spare mags for a loooooong time with no luck from FN Sports/R. Nicholls. Great rifle but damn its ####y to deal with that FN sports/R. Nicholls. I wanted to buy a .270 barrel for my rifle and gave up. Basterds do not return calls. I was treated like I was a big inconvenience for wanting to buy another barrel and parts. I gave up and just bought another Rem. 700. The Sauer 200 take down is one well made rifle I love it, real accurate. Great hunting rifle. Just not worth buying though due to FN Sports/R. Nicholls in my opinion.
