WRAS 2 Day 3 Gun, 17 - 18 Sept

How many magazines are needed for longun/shortgun? I have all the guns needed but have yet to stock up on magazines but I would still like to come out and try it.

Edit: Black badge not required for holster usage correct?

I've got a spare 858 mag just need to find it.

Best numbers of mags would be 5 for each, you can do it in four and some do in three, but generally the more the merrier.

If you don't have enough bring ammo and show up anyways, we will make do.

Does that go for pistol as well? No black badge for holster usage then?

One last question. For a first timer the fees are $70 total, Ie: •$35 Adult Membership + •$40 for Adult Registration (Non SGGC Member) correct?

Well day 2 in the books. 30 people out in total over the wknd. Thanks to all that came out to shoot/ set-up and such.

A big thanks to those that contributed prizes:
MilArm,
P&D Enterprises,
Phoenix Indoor Range and Gun Shop, and
Drop Zone.

Also thanks to ATRS for bringing their Texas Star for us to shoot at. Who knew rifle and a star could be so much fun.

Next 3 Gun is on the 15th of Oct. Hope to see you all there.

BigTex

And a BIG thanks to bigtex, Sosa, and all the other WRAS crew for putting on another great shoot! Sorry I don't know everyone's handles here, but it was a great time and would never be possible without all of your hard work and the passion you all have for the shooting sports.

Looking forward to October, with the next 3-gun AND another steel challenge on the 29th... yes indeed.

Yeah, big props to the EVIL stage designers who forced me to run my 858 from stripper clips once I ran my last mag dry, and then had the gall to draw my name for the AR-15 mags! :p

Was a great weekend, dampened only by having to work in the evenings.

Now THAT, my friend, was DAMN funny. :D

It's a sign from the almighty, come have a nice cup of AR kool-aid... ;)

Thanks again To BigTex and Sosa! Great club and a great bunchof guys!

Screw that, Sosa can suck my sweaty balls for that second-last VTAC port on the rimfire range (stage 12). That was just STUPID uncomfortable shooting, with a 90-degree canted rifle no less!

Great challenges on all of the stages - and lots of fun for all involved!

Awww muffin, really it was that bad??

You and I have built in stops, just bend forward as far as you can until the belly gets in the way and your in the right spot.

:):):)

I guess Stage 13 was a little hard as only 8 people with a non zero score.
