WRAS 2013 Match Schedule

Looks like Spruce Grove Gun Club website is down or gone. How the hell are we supposed to know what shoots are going on, or when the RSO is on duty now???

At least I know the range is busy today from this thread.
 
Well another great day on the ranges.

36 shooters out with 5 awesome stages, thanks for pushing thru the heat so that we could make our 5pm timing.

With that, the annual 2 day 3 Gun is quickly coming up.

August 31 - Sept 1, the plan is to have around 12 stages with everything wrapping up Sunday with awards, prizes, swap meet for gear and a BBQ.

We will also be holding the annual general meeting with elections for a new Exec committee, so if you wish to be on the pointy end and carry the club fwd with growth of our sport please email us.

Also, if you have a stage that you would like to see, scribble it on some paper, a napkin, back of a target and get it to us before the match.

There is camping available on the range.

All right folks, 2 day match is quickly approaching.

We need some fine folks to come out Friday night to help start set up. We have the ranges booked starting at 18:00 fri night for this purpose.

Also, if you have a stage design that has been burning a hole in ya to share, this is the time. Scribble it out on a piece of paper or the back of the beer case sitting in the cleaning area and email it to us so that we can have a look and figure out which range to put it on. We have rifle 1 on Saturday (300 yd), yes you will be shooting out to 300.

And finally, if you are going to come Sunday night for the BBQ, drop us an email so that we can get a rough number.

There is camping available at the range for those that want to rough it.

An email will go out with the rough round count and the temp gate code.

As if you guys needed another reason to come out and shoot a fantastic 3 gun match... but here it is anyways!

Wild West Shooting Centre is donating 4 guns to the prize table of the 2-day 3 gun match. That's right! 4 guns!

Shooters will be split into classes based on performance at previous matches. Win your class and you'll go home with a brand new gun! More details will be provided at the match briefing before the match.

Remember! You can only win if you come on out and shoot the match. Although it won't improve your chances of winning, come by Wild West Shooting Centre in West Edmonton Mall and say hello to us, and remember we do stock a fantastic range of 3 gun gear.
 
They did...

Hopefully I can win something. I have yet to win a single thing in shooting. Wild Rose, IPSC Alberta... not even a stupid mag brush that everyone else got last year at the IPSC provincials.................
 
I'll be there on sunday. I have an aircast on my foot, so I think I will try to concentrate on accuracy this time. LOL. Not gonna break any speed records.

I'll see what I can put together for the swap meet. I know I have a bunch of holsters to sell. My buddy ordered a bunch of 9mm ammo. They sent .40, so I'm going to bring a number of cases of American Eagle (165 gr, I think) pistol ammo.

Anyone else want to put up what they plan on bringing?
