WRAS 3 Gun April 12th

I'll be there,
but for the blackbadge course, not the comp.

Thinking I need to snatch a case of the cheap 223 just for the eventual day I get sucked into 3 gun and buy a ar lol
 
Our first 3-gun shoot at WRAS. 35 people brave the zero degree weather. In the afternoon when it warmed up we had to deal with the mud. Isn't spring time in Alberta wonderful.

Good shoot, six stages, lots of fun. Great way to kick off the season.
 
Thanks to all that came out yesterday, smoothest set up in the last 5 years! Had a great time and hope everyone enjoyed themselves. See you all next month!

Stage 6 is missing though ;)

I don't have any idea how the scoring works. LOL.

I see where I placed overall, and I see where I placed in Standard, but the total scores are different. Is Standard scored differently than Open?

Stage 6 six scoring had to be dropped as one squad shot it incorrectly, resulting in much shorter times and about 8 fewer rounds fired.

We did the scoring two ways. Once with people in their declared division, and once with everyone in overall. The difference is in your declared division, all the other shooters are missing therefore your score is generally much higher. Also some of the better shooters are in OPEN, and that will throw a loop into the results when combined.

It was a difference of about 30 points for me. I can blow 30 points in so many creative ways that it doesn't matter. LOL.

The 10 procedurals that I got dinged for on Stage 1 didn't do me any favors. My foot was touching the ground as I stood on the shooters box to lean around the barricade. Doh!

Oh well, it was great to shake the cobwebs and rust off and get out and shoot!
