WRAS Charity shoot in support of Valour Place SEE POST 27 & 28 FOR UPDATE!!

Less than a week away from the shoot for Valour Place. The raffle will be for an NEA upper in 7.62X39, a 5.11 TacTec Plate Carrier, A VTAC chest rig and JP industries Silent buffer! Tickets are 1 for $20 or 3 for $40. As well, with your entry fee, you will be entered for a chance to win some great prizes!

Hey APS, have you got a rough and I mean rough estimate of round count? Or should I run with minimum of 100 or each and a couple dozen slugs? Also, timings? Recoveryarms2 and I are rolling in from Wainwright, So we would like to be able to do a reverse time appreciation, and while I am on a roll, entry fees?

thanks in adv, looking forward to it!!

Entry fees are 40 bucks for non Spruce Grove Gun Club members and 30 for members. Set up time is at 08:00 unless you are coming from out of town, then you have the 09:00- 09:30 grace period. I would suggest at a minimum 100-150 each of rifle and pistol but I always carry more. 3 boxes of shot, we recommend 6 shot (lead only) but folks do fine with 7.5 just don't wine if a popper doesn't drop. Bring 5-10 slugs. If you run out there a lots of folks with spare ammo.

A big thank you to all that came out and all of our sponsors. Today we raised $4000 dollars for Valour Place!!! Awesome work guys and girls! We will see you next year!

Thanks for a great match. It's nice to be able to support such a good cause and have a wonderful time doing it.

Lots of great sponsors, too. I think Conner and I came away from the table with stuff from MilArm, Finning, and Gryphon Energetics. Explodey stuff is always a big hit at my house. :)

The WRAS crew did a fantastic job.

So this past weekend brought another 3 Gun season to a close for WRAS. We were able to raise $4000 with 33 shooters coming out to support a great cause, Valour Place. A big shout out to all of the sponsors that help support our match. NEA, MilArm, Tier One Armoury, Finning, CTCS, Leduc Canadian Tire, Wholesale Sports, 911 Supply, Gryphon Energetics, Phase Line Green Tactical and S&J Hardware.

Also a big thank you to Martin, the house manager for Valour Place coming out and being a part of the action.

See everybody next year.

Cheers,
Tex
