Title says it all...

I know it's WAY too early for anything to be happening... I'm itching to get back out and have some WRAS fun this year already though, lol!

Anyone hear anything yet oe is there a rough schedule put together maybe? I could then try to plan my holidays and possibly shift my schedule around so I'm in Canada more often when the events happen. I'd much rather be at SGGC than riding a donkey in Albania if I have the choice, lol!

(Besides... I wanna run the crap out of my new gear and see just how well it works!)

Cheers! :ar15:

Hey all,

We are getting everything in line for this yr. We are hoping to start the first wknd in Apr and run right thru till Rememberance day. We should have the schedule out in the next couple of wks.

Anyone know who is putting on the BB course in Edmonton? I work out of town (14 & 7) so will need to find something that fits my schedule. Maybe there are others in or near Edmonton who would be in for a class on weekend of the 15th?

Phoenix holds courses but they book up pretty fast. Also, if you check out IPSC Alberta, there should be a link to some instructors.

I wouldn't mind taking a course myself.

Bump...any news? I'm going to be booking vacation soon and would like to get a few weekends off if I happen to be working.

No news at all. Jackolo, Canar if you guys want PM me and I'll keep looking for a class. If there's enough interest we might be able to persuade someone to put on a class.

We are just waiting for the green light from the range to say that we have the ranges booked. Will hopefully have the answer by the beginning of next week. It should be a good year, we have a bunch of new targets and props in the works for this years season. We are looking fwd to seeing everybody out on the range.

Here's an update for ya, Wild West is going to be giving away more guns this year!! Also, everyone shooting Wild Rose matches up to May 27th, will be entered to win a two day shooting class by Todd Jarrett!

Hope to win a gun... Or something this year. but at least it is still a blast even if I don't! (like last season)

I have to not sit with you ken. I blame you for not even winning a mag brush or pen at the ipsc provincials! :p

Here is the rest of the info on winning the Todd Jarrett course from Wild West.

We are going to have a draw on May 27th for the winner, here is how you get tickets.
You get one ticket for each qualifier you shoot before May 27th. This would include Shooting Edge, Lethbridge and Ft. Mac.
You will get one ticket for each Wild Rose match you shoot before May 27th. (Schedule should be known soon)
You will get one ticket for each club match you shoot at APRA Homestead Range before May 27th.
Also, you will get one additional ticket for each $100 you spend at Wild West between now and May 27th.

If there are other IPSC/Steel Challenge club shoots in Alberta at this time, we may add them as well.

Good luck everybody!!
