Wrong bullets ! ?

OK I kinda messed up & bought 3 boxes (600) Hornady Cowboy 255 gn FP
Didn't notice they are .454
I was wanting them for my 45LC ,typicaly .452
Can I resize these or just sell em ? Or is it even a problem ?

Because they are lead you should be just fine using in a 45 colt.

I've been using 454 with the 45Colt so far and it's working pretty good. Gonna compare with the 452s I cast up next time I'm at the range.

Your not alone, I bought 2 boxes of 240gr .452 bullets for my 460V, picture on the boxed showed they had a cannelure, guess what, they didn't, they were for some not so popular rifle cartridge.
