I use the Swiss Products side mount and have used a few different scopes thus far. Recoil killed my Zeiss Terra in 8 months, killed a Bushnell in 30 rounds, and tonight I just mounted a Nikon Prostaff that I hope will stay put. Brass will hit either your rings or scope - you choose.
