WS MCR - Looking for trigger upgrade advice

I am looking to upgrade the trigger on my WS MCR.

I've heard that there is a spacing problem with some of the drop-in triggers.

Does anyone have any experience upgrading the trigger on this rifle? What worked well for you and what didn't?

Looks like a good fit! I'll have to keep my eye out for one.

It sounds like something like a TriggerTech won't work from the little info I could find.

I have been contemplating on attempting to see if on of my Trigger Techs will fit.

I put a trigger tech 5.5 combat non adjustable cassette trigger in my WK and it's great. However I did have to modify one part to make it fit.
The bolt hold open lever which pivots on that pin above the the trigger group, touches the trigger housing and it wont go back in.

So I took my dremel to the hold open lever until I had clearance.
There is a lot of metal so strength was not affected.

Funny enough, I ordered Kodiaks bolt hold open with the external release and I did not have to modify it to clear the trigger tech.

Not sure if the WS is the same.

I installed a trigger tech into my WK180 and also had to modify my RWA bolt hold open to fit.

That looks like a great option. Still a good price relative the other options.

Found a good deal on a Geissele Super Dynamic Combat, picked it up, and installed it.

So far the dry fire tests work great. No issue with mag catch.

I have installed the RISE Armament RA-535 Advanced Performance Trigger. It was a little snug getting the pins in but it’s been operating beautifully for me since. They claim 3.5 lb trigger pull but I haven’t checked it myself yet, it is definitely lighter and a huge improvement from factory trigger.

i went with an ACT drop in mil-spec replacement. 100 dollars - night and day difference.

A bit of polishing with an 800 then a 1200 water stone on the sear engagement surface to remove the rough bits will do wonders.

Don't remove metal - just polish it. You'd be amazed at how good a factory trigger can be.
