Finally got my spec180 lower in the mail today, and installed it right away.
I posted pics on the FB wk180 page. Been paying close attention to the threads talking about these. Once I figure out how to upload pictures on this I will.
After 500 rounds through the stock MCR I noticed my control/trigger hand was awkwardly placed, sometimes causing some irritation on the blocky edges on the rear side//where your thumb/webbing are placed.
Nothing you couldn’t train through.
After handling/fondling this new lower since it’s been installed, it’s already a major difference in the comfort and ergo’s
Thumbs up
FYI, the rear knock out pin was a bit toight like toiger to push through, all good otherwise

That’s awesome. I’ll be picking mine up at the post office today.

Did you have to put in a new takedown pin on the lower or did it come with one?

Would like to see your build. I’m looking forward to using a beaver tail grip again

Yah I’m just juggling makin supper and tidying up, then I’ll figure how to post pictures.

It came bare. I had to remove the take down pin on the stock lower and put it in. I got lucky…the 1” long spring and the tiny tiny pin that holds the actual take down pin into place, went flying…I near s hit myself. When installing on new lower I recommend a small flat blade to push the spring+tiny tiny pin down into place so you can slide the main take down pin in the hole

Anyone know where you can source a WS-MCR front takedown pin? I know the detent and spring are AR-15 standard parts but I'd rather not strip the front takedown pin out of my MCR to put in the new lower (so as to have 2 complete lowers).
