Ws-Mcr or IWI X95

They don't compare. One is a budget rifle with budget quality, the other is a top-of-the-line service rifle made by a premier international small arms manufacturer.

X95 is better overall quality and reliability wise as the others have mentioned.

MCR since it uses the AR style manual of arms, takes some AR parts like triggers is a better platform for things like three gun if that’s your intention. Provided the one you get is reliable and accurate.

I own both (223).

MCR: Have a spare parts kit for the mcr, buy the new lower by one of the two Spectre companies, change the trigger if that’s your thing. 600 rounds through my mcr (Barnaul) and zero issues, but still too early to comment.

X95: mines stock and I love it. Just get an optic with a higher mounting option, a sling, and you’re good to go. 1000 rounds Barnaul and some small quantities of green tips (pmc) and other random bulk brass 556 through mine. Had a couple failure to eject and a couple light primer strikes with the steel cased Barnaul if memory serves.

Dunno what to tell ya otherwise man. Save $ and buy ‘em while you can….

X95 is a fantastic gun - great ergonomics, can go forever without cleaning (and even then, cleaning is easy), no problems with it, lots of rails to accessorize, pop up sights are decent, but throw a Scalarworks Leap mount on it with a red dot, and it's great. And despite reports that accuracy is not its best attribute, I have found it decent (maybe because for me, my standards are pretty low based on my skill level). Aside from the price tag, the only thing one may not like about it is the bullpup design (I get it, it's not for everyone) - it takes a while to get used to it.

I owned X95 and a WS-MCR. Love them both. I’m more of an AR Guy so the WS MCR is what I shot most of the time. To be honest, my personal preference is the WS MCR due to its similarity to the AR-15’s modularity and ergonomics. On the other hand, the X95 is a tested and battle proven design but being a bull pup design, in my opinion is kind of hard to get used to. The WS MCR is a budget rifle designed here in Canada and patterned after the AR180 design, being a budget rifle is not bad at all, some rough edges could be refined. I have the galil stock on mine and I replaced it with an AR stock as a personal preference. I still believe the WS MCR has more potential compared to the x95.

I like a gun I don't have to baby. I have 3 Tavors and i've beaten the absolute sh*t out of them. One of them i've never cleaned once in 7 years. Just lubed the bolt carrier group and it keeps going. I reckon the MCR wouldn't be able to hold up to that.

That is incredible! How many rounds would you say that gun has gone through in those seven years?

I have read stories of people going 10,000-15,000 rounds between cleanings with the X95...sounds like it is not an urban myth...

My buddy did the T97, what was left over if he bought a Tavor he used for optics and ammo. Other then the safety, not much to complain about, and the T97 is reliable as hell.

But as expected the Tavor is a great gun for the cost of it.

No comparison, if you can afford it get the x95, mine has been 100% reliable, also some people report poor accuracy, that has not been the case for me, im getting 1.5 moa at 100yards all day when I shoot from a rest.

Admittedly less than the one I've had longer and clean often (that one has over 10k) but still a significant amount.
