Ws mcr scope mounting

I've picked up a ws mcr and a Leupold vx freedom 3-4x40-1" as well as a pair of weaver classic high rings. The rings do not let the objective bell clear the rail. Also I'd need probably an inch higher to be able to see through the acope as the cheek weld puts my eye quite a bit higher.
Extra high rings still seem too low.
Any suggestions on what to use?

Something like these risers under the rings might help.

Any typical "AR-height" (1.5") mount will work.

Alternatively, a Low Stock Adapter from KP Rifle Co. is another solution. It drops the stock by ~5/8”.
