called bass pro in Vaughan (because it is convenient),

now better sit down: They charge $79.99 for 1000 WSP primers.

I told the guy, this must be a mistake, because the going price is around $40.00 / 1000.

He confirmed, that bass pro's price uis $79.99 / 1000.

I thought they refused to stock anything to do with handguns?

No matter...most primers are sub $30.00 now...

S&B (my personal favourites) from SFRC (site sponsor) for $29 ish...$27 and change if you buy 5,000

LeBarons are in the same price range for Winchester. They seem to have quite a bit of stock now (at least in Ottawa)

guess bass pro will be on my ignore list from now on; the only thing they carry of interest to me is reloading stuff but...

called "lebarenone" as well, as usual, great prices and no stock.

will have to ride to al simmons, they have stock and they sell $ 40.00 for 1000

There are some benefits to living in Ontario, cheap shot and primers. FS

Wow. I just had a look. I think you've just generated some new business for a site sponsor. I'm paying around $50/1000 (taxes in) locally. How much does UPS charge for shipping something like primers??? Also, how do you find the S&B primers? I've never used them. Any reliability issues?

I think the SFRC website has a function to estimate shipping...or just send them an email.

I like the S&B...I used about 20k of t hem thus far with no issues. Someone told me they were "harder"...but I'm using them in an IPSC Open gun...with a pretty light mainspring...and I've not had a single issue.
