WSS has k31 + GP11 combo for $600

Stopped by wholesale sports and the have a rifle ammo combo in swiss K31's.
Super tempted to buy one. Are they all that and a bag of chips or a PITA to reload/source ammo for?
The rifles alone were $350 or so I think. Sign said save $120 buying the combo
Very pretty rifles.
 
We sell the combo for $500 ($200 for rifle and $300 for ammo). However we are down to the last of the rifles. No pristine bores, no walnut stocks, finish about 50% -80%
 
Yes buy one, u won't be disappointed. If u can pick up the case of GP11 for around $300, that works out to about $13 a box- not bad, not sure if u could make it any cheaper reloading. Very accurate rifle with the GP11.
 
Saw a couple rifles they had on the shelves were a tad rough looking. Mine's a little beaver chewed on the butt but otherwise in fantastic shape. If you can grab one with a nice bore and a fair stock have at 'er. The K31 is by far the most accurate milsurp I own, possibly more accurate than most of my hunting guns too. For ammo, I haven't given the GP11 a go yet but I hear nothing but good things. Mine loves PRVI from Tradeex, best iron sight groups I have ever put up. Damn near MOA at 200 yards.
 
I forecast that all current K31's will be sold out by dealers within the next 6 months! Who knows when we will see them again, and I know they will be selling for a lot more than the $200-250 they are now.
 
Oh, and last night, I used the RCBS collet bullet puller (.308) to pull the FMJ bullet out of some GP11. Replaced with a Berger 168gr VLD without incident. If your range doesn't allow FMJ, go and do this.
